Dr Veena started working as Family Physician after finishing her graduation in 2003. She completed a 3 year post graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2009 through the National Board of Examinations New Delhi, India.

After completing 8 years of General Practice work in India, she moved to Townsville in 2011. She worked as a full time GP in a very busy practice in Townsville for more than 6 years. She received the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. Dr Veena received professional certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from HealthCert in 2020. She is having special interest in Cosmetics, Preventive Health, Women's Health and Weight loss management.
Outside of work, Dr Veena enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with her family.

Dr Sandy Lee

BSc/MBBS (Hon) FRACGP MPH DCH Grad Cert Med (Skin cancer) Cert FPAA AmusA (Piano, Distinction) Dr Lee is a dedicated QLD trained, fellowed GP specialist with interests in all areas of general practice and a broad range of experience. Dr Lee has completed a masters in public health, graduate certificate in skin cancer medicine, diploma in child health, certificate in sexual and reproductive health and an honours dual science, medicine and surgery research degree. She has worked in metropolitan and rural hospitals, Brisbane GP clinics and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services.

Please contact our reception staff with regards to skin checks, minor procedures, IUD and Implanon insertions or removals. Dr Lee strongly believes in mutual respect and kindness between patients and staff and does not prescribe long term drugs of dependence. Dr Lee is a Taiwanese Australian who speaks Mandarin, and understands conversational Hokkien and Japanese. She holds an associate diploma in classical piano performance with distinction since childhood and enjoys playing as a hobby.

Dr Sunny Modi

Dr Sunny Modi is a specialist GP in Skin Cancer medicine. He initially started working in various hospitals in Queensland, mainly working in General Surgery, prior to gaining his fellowship in General Practice. He has completed Advanced Certificate courses in Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermatoscopy through Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) and is now designated as Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor by the College. He has gained wealth of experience in skin cancer procedures including flap repairs and grafts.

Dr Modi also offers circumcision procedure for all ages. He has introduced a novel circumcision technique in Australia for first time.

Dr Namal Prematillake

Dr Namal has over 12 years of work experience in Australian hospitals in Toowoomba, Townsville, Charters Towers and Boonah. He completed his General Practice training in North Queensland. He has diplomas in Emergency Medicine and Child Health. He enjoys variety of presentations in General Practice. His special interests are in child health, indigenous health, chronic diseases and medical emergencies. Out side of work he enjoys travelling around Australia and spending time with his family.

"Dr Sagir Parkar is a Queensland-trained Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He holds current general and specialist registration with AHPRA. After completing medical studies in India, Dr Parkar trained in Psychiatry in London and worked in various hospitals and psychiatric subspecialties across the UK and achieved his Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry before moving to Australia. Thereafter he completed his Fellowship training in Brisbane. He also holds a Certificate in Adult Psychiatry Dr Parkar has over 17 years experience in Psychiatry and is currently working as a Consultant Psychiatrist, partly within the public health system and partly in private practice. He is experienced in assessing and treating patients with Depression, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Bipolar Affective Disorder, ADHD, Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, and has a special interest in Neuropsychiatry. He brings an empathic approach in his interaction and individually tailors management plans according to each person’s unique set of circumstances and needs. He places a high level of importance on recovery and incorporates relevant non-pharmacological options in the treatment plan. Dr Parkar is also a Senior Lecturer with University of Queensland and Griffith University and is actively involved in teaching medical students at both Universities."

Dr Shenaz Seedat

Dr Shenaz Seedat completed her Medical degree at The University of Queensland and then underwent Specialist training in Endocrinology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital, completing this in 2010. She had an established practice in Brisbane prior to relocating overseas in 2013, and has recommenced consulting at Greenslopes Private Hospital since her return in December 2020. Having gained a wide range of up-to-date expertise while abroad, Dr Seedat is excited to consult in Brisbane again, offering the highest standard of care to her patients. She has extensive experience in a range of endocrine disorders, including continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy. She believes that optimisation of patient care results from individualisation and education, and actively involves her patients in their healthcare decisions. Dr Seedat enjoys teaching medical students and junior medical staff. She also regularly provides endocrine presentations for medical professionals and is a member of the Endocrine Society (USA).

Dr Petar Vujovic

Dr Petar Vujovic is a General Surgeon specialising in breast and endocrine surgery. He has more than a decade of experience in breast and endocrine surgery including two years experience at consultant level in the UK.

Dr Vujovic graduated from medical school at the University of Western Australia in 1990 and completed his general surgical training in Perth in 1998. He then became a fellow at Princess Alexandra Hospital before taking Consultant Surgeon posts in the United Kingdom at Nottingham City Hospital and Broomfield Hospital. Dr Vujovic completed his Surgical Fellowship in 1999 and post-Fellowship training in Brisbane in 2000. He worked as a Consultant Surgeon in Nottingham and Chelmsford, UK before returning to Brisbane in 2002 to take up an appointment as Visiting Medical Officer in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

His academic appointments include Senior Lecturer (University of Queensland), Clinical Tutor (The Wesley Hospital) and Assistant Professor (Bond University).

Since then, she has developed a love for empowering individuals to achieve a happier and healthier life through food by prioritising realistic strategies and an individualised approach.
