Dr Veena started working as Family Physician after finishing her graduation in 2003. She completed a 3 year post graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2009 through the National Board of Examinations New Delhi, India.

After completing 8 years of General Practice work in India, she moved to Townsville in 2011. She worked as a full time GP in a very busy practice in Townsville for more than 6 years. She received the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. Dr Veena received professional certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from HealthCert in 2020. She is having special interest in Cosmetics, Preventive Health, Women’s Health and Weight loss management.

Outside of work, Dr Veena enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with her family.
