At Berkeley Medical Centre, our fee structure adheres to the guidelines set by the Australian Medical Association (AMA), ensuring transparency and fairness. Comprehensive details of our fee schedule are available through our helpful reception staff.
Following your consultation, we kindly request immediate payment, which can be conveniently made using cash, Visa, or Mastercard. We’re here to make things smoother – our terminal enables swift Medicare claim processing, ensuring your Medicare rebate is promptly deposited into your nominated bank account.
Bulk Billing Available
Berkeley Medical Centre is a Bulk Billing Practice, we bulk bill all eligible medicare card holders for eligible services. Private fees are incurred for non-Medicare Card holders or overseas students and visitors. This may be claimed back through your private health insurer. Some additional costs are incurred for private travel vaccinations, cosmetic injectables, medical reports, venesections, Implanon/ Mirena insertion and/or removal, Iron infusion and procedures. Please ask reception for the cost of these services.

* Fees Updates Effective from : 1st July, 2025 Note : There may be additional fees if your consultation requires performing a procedure, dressing or vaccination etc. The fees are provided as common reference for all doctors, the doctors determines their own fees, if your preferred doctor is unavailable, there can be changes in fees depending on another GP’s fee schedule.
On the cosmetic, allied health and psychiatrist appointment, iron infusions costs for these services will still apply as per doctor’s discretion. Please call reception regarding any procedural costs.
Workers Compensation Claims
Medicare does not cover injuries sustained at work, as these should be covered by your workplace insurer. As a result, you are responsible for payment for consultations relating to such injuries – which can then be reclaimed from your employer’s insurer.
